Mindset is something that I work on constantly, both for myself personally and for my clients.
When you believe in yourself and know without a doubt that you can achieve your goals, then you are halfway there.
If you believe you can't, if you have fears and doubts, then you risk failure - or won't even try!
All those fears and limitations, the lack of action taking, completely block you from achieving your full potential. Negative thoughts and feelings can have a spiraling effect of taking over your mindset and impacting all your thoughts.
Your brain believes what you tell it. Yep, it’s really not that clever! We can and do lie to our brains all the time. Have you ever told yourself “I can’t do that”? Or “it won’t work”? Probably! And your brain believes it. However, if you told yourself “I can do that”, “I’m going to try”, or “when this works it’ll be amazing!” - then your brain will believe you as well! And the more you do it, the easier it will be.
Here are some simple ways you can uplevel your mindset:
Allow yourself quiet, thoughtful time every day
Incorporate affirmations into your morning routine
Express gratitude for all the amazing things in your life
Create a 'legend list' of your incredible achievements
Hold up a ‘STOP!’ sign to negative thoughts - notice each one
Visualise the person you want to be and the life you want to have
If you have received fantastic client feedback, share it! Be proud of it and own it by letting others know what you have achieved.
